Extraction-method: Ethanol (50-70%) and water (30-50%).

Extraction ratio 10:1 meaning 120 mg of the extract contains 1200 mg Centella Asiatica.

Centella Asiatica, commonly known as Centella, Asiatic pennywort or Gotu kola, is a plant native to Southeast Asia, India and the USA and is popular in traditional and ayurvedic medicine. Centella Asiatica stimulates the development of skin fibroblasts, the producers of collagen. 

Stimulated fibroblasts will form additional collagen, in combination with necessary nutrients for collagen syntheses, like vitamin C en minerals like copper and zinc and pro-collagen factors like the amino acids proline and lysine. 

Our beige to green extract contains > 10% triterpenes. Triterpenes are molecules produced by plants and animals and have medicinal properties. In this case stimulation of fibroblasts to produce collagen.

Our extract with batch # C094/043/A18 contains very low amount of toxic chemicals: total heavy metals 0.06 ppm (max tolerance is 10 ppm).
